Fundació Privada RACC
FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA RACC was founded with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility through research publications, educational and training programmes, in order to have a positive influence on the attitude of motorists, to protect the interests of users and to improve the citizens' quality of life as regards mobility issues.
Within smartCEM RACC will lead the Barcelona pilot site. Organizational and high-level technical issues across the pilot site implying all relevant stakeholders will be coordinated by RACC to ensure a successful set up and smooth operation of the pilot, and to channel outputs and conclusions to other pilot sites. Feedback will be collected from users by means of surveys, and data obtained from the electric scooters will also be processed, in close cooperation with IDIADA. RACC will provide traffic information to improve the multimodal route planner and navigation services for electromobility in Barcelona, also contributing to identify which sources of infomobility data could be used to fine tune the defined services. RACC will contribute to the dissemination of the pilot results to raise awareness and increase user acceptance of EVs and will conduct research to determine which are and how to overcome deployment barriers of EVs.
