The Municipality acts as the traffic authority for the metropolitan area and operates three control centres for urban, ring road and regional access to the city. The Mobility Department coordinates and executes mobility projects defined within the Municipal Action Plan, covering all modes of transport with ITS and the related consultation with stakeholders through its Mobility Pact.
Within smartCEM Barcelona Municipality will facilitate access to the public charging infrastructure, organise meetings needed for organisational and technical issues of the pilot test facilitating that all needed stakeholders coordinate in the most efficient way in cooperation with the Test Site Leader; contribution to the identification of deployment barriers of EVs and dissemination activities will also be carried out.
